Five Sentence Fiction

Now I am back in the saddle so to speak, I can start my re entry to the world of flash fiction with this entry to Lillie McFerrin’s FIVE SENTENCE FICTION.

 

To say I have missed it would be an understatement.

 

This week the word for your inspiration is AWKWARD.

THAT AWKWARD MOMENT

 

She watched him from the corner, trying desperately to conceal herself from his view.

 

He was carrying two packages and when she saw him enter the florist, she could take no more.  He was cheating, she just knew it.

 

Back at her desk she wrote the text telling him that their relationship was over, she didn’t trust him and could not live with the uncertainty any longer.

 

As she hit send, the porter burst into her office, arms laden with flowers and parcels.
